The discussion mainly concerns three aspects: former recommendations or certifications of AthTek NetWalk, grammar errors on its site page and the price setting. For the grammar errors, maybe it will take us a long time to locate and correct them all. We would be very appreciate if you can help us the translate all the text on the software pages. Actually I found that there were many features which we haven’t list on out website, but they had been mentioned in your comments, that is really really great! Maybe I can use some of them on our website for thanks to your contribution.
Finally, the price settings. We do have a free personal edition for home users. There are a few limitations but is definitely adequate to your home network monitoring purpose. AthTek NetWalk is more or less overkill for network novice, but can be used just as a network education tool for you to learn stuff of networking. Alternatively, you can free to try another networking tool of us, IP – MAC Scanner. This tool is developed for home user to monitor their small home network, including wireless network with DHCP addresses. It is more easier for use, and you can fast check all the connections to your network.
We have already finished to collect all the suggestions and ideas from GOTD. Some of them will be scheduled in the next version of AthTek NetWalk. I only want to say thanks to all you guys, and we will continuously improve our software and customer servious.
